| ReTs demand reagularization of EVs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Jun 3: A monthly meeting of all J&K RET Teacher's Forum held at town Hall Udhampur under the Chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma in which a large number of RET teachers from all Zones of Udhampur were present.
While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma highlighted the long pending genuine demand of the RET Teachers which include immediate regularization of EVs who have completed their 7 years service whether as EVs or RETs or both since march 2010 onwards, old pension scheme in favour of RETs appointed before January 1, 2010 by implementing Govt. Order No. 115 Edu: Of 2008 Dated 29-02-2008, inclusion of 5 years RET period for seniority benefits provision of SRO-43 for those RETs and EVs. Who have lost their lives during their RET/EV period, Transfer policy in favour of regularized RET Teachers and issuance of formal order regarding enhancement of honorarium of RETs from Rs. 1500/- P.M to Rs. 3000/ - P.M.
The forum members urged the Chief Minister to concede their genuine demands at an earliest as per his commitment in the welfare of thousand of RET teachers working in the state who have raised literacy rate in the state by opening closed schools in the far flung areas, minimizing dropout rates and maximizing Enrolment drive in the whole state. |
