| BJYM protests over power curtailments | | |

KISHTWAR, Jun 3: To protest long hours of power curtailment in Channi Himmat area, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists today held a demonstration here today.
Led by their State Treasurer Ishant Gupta, the BJYM activists shouted slogans against Power Development Department (PDD) authorities.
They lamented PDD for its failure to provide regular power supply in this scorching heat.
Ishant Gupta, while addressing the morcha activists said that the residents of Channi Himmat Colony are facing unnecessary power curtailment.
Gupta said that the Chief Engineer and Concerned officials should concentrate on finding solution of the problems being faced by the people and cautioned that the Department should not test the patience of the people and take immediate effective steps to ensure regular supply of electricity.
