| Grenade, IED diffused in Baramulla | | | Baramulla, Jan 31
Security forces claimed to have averted a major tragedy in Baramulla District after Police detected and diffused a live grenade at Tapper, while troop’s army diffused an IED at Sheeri, here this afternoon.
Official sources told News Agency of Kashmir that Pattan Police detected a live grenade at Tapper Payeen in Baramulla district. The area was immediately sealed to prevent any mishap or civilian causality. Later the Bomb Disposal Squad Baramulla diffused the grenade safely
Meanwhile, a road opening party of army detected an IED planted near Petrol Pump Sheeri on Baramulla-Uri road. Sources said that the vehicular moment was stopped for some time and the IED was later safely diffused by Bomb Disposal Squad. |
