Northern Command's Army Public schools excel in Board results | | | EArLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Jun 4: Northern Command's Army Public Schools have excelled in 12th class board results declared on 27 May 2012 and have shown marked improvement as compared to the last year. Number of toppers securing 90% and above marks has increased by 30 % as compared to last year. The pass percentage too has improved to 96 % as compared to 94% last year, which is way ahead of the overall CBSE pass percentage. Surbhi Sharma of APS, Udhampur topped in Northern Command, securing 93 % marks, while Sarijana Chib of APS, Udhampur and Aishwarya Nair of APS, Nagrota have stood second with 92.2% marks each. In the class 10 class results declared on 24 May 2012, Army Public Schools of Northern Command have done us proud by securing 100 % pass results. Number of students in A-1 grade has come up to 126 this year as compared to 96 last year. Number of students who have secured a full 10 Point Cumulative Grade Point Average this year has shot up to 41 this year in contrast to 29 last year. It is heartening that 50% students are in top two grades of A-1 and A-2. Expressing happiness over the performance of schools, the Board of Administration of Army Public Schools, at Headquarters Northern Command has extended felicitations to the meritorious students and their parents, assuring further academic and co-curricular growth. |
