Army claimed to have recovered a cache of ammunition during a search operation, from the fields of Check-I- Kawoosa in Ganie Mohalla area of Magam, here today.
A defence spokesman told News Agency of Kashmir that the troops of 2 Rashtriya Riffles on specific information conducted a search operation in the area and recovered huge cache of ammunition, including two grenades (destroyed on spot), two AK magazines and 30 AK rounds from the open fields of Check-I- Kawoosa, Ganie Mohalla, he said. Case has been registered in this regard.
