| Mangat inaugurates Crusher Unit | | |
Jammu, January 31
Health and Medical Education Minister Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma inaugurated a Stone Crusher unit established at a cost of Rs. 234 lakh by a leading entrepreneur with a loan of Rs 20.70 lakh advanced by Rural Bank Jammu and a subsidy of Rs. 3.80 lakh as margin money released by KVIB. This unit has enabled employment to 120 persons.
The Minister handed over a cheque of margin money to the beneficiary.
Addressing on the occasion, the Minister advised the rural unemployed artisans to come forward and bring themselves under the ambit of self-employment ventures of KVIB and establish their own income generating units. ‘This will not only provide employment to the owner but will also generate employment opportunities for several others also’ he added
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Mr. P.K. Nargotra informed that the unit will produce 8000 sft. crushed stones per day besides sand and bazri of all sizes. He also briefed about the schemes of the KVIB under REGP being implemented by the Board. |
