| JKNPP tosses Dr Karan Singh's name as next President of India | | | Jammu , Jun 5: Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) adopted several resolutions on international, national and state issues and unanimously suggested the name of Cong MP Dr Karan Singh as president of India during the three-day National Integration Camp organized at Sudhmahadev Udhampur..
According to the press statement, the camp presided over by Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party and Member, National Integration Council, passed a resolution urging all the National and Regional parties to present Dr Karan Singh as the Presidential candidate. "Dr Karan Singh is an ideal choice to represent India as its next President, the JKNPP leadership underlined.
The Panthers party resolution in its strong appeal to the Congress, Bhartiya Janata Party, the Leftist and all other regional parties urged to make their joint choice in Dr. Karan Singh for the next President of India who has immense global understanding and has established himself as a global citizen.
The Panthers Party resolution claimed that in the conflict-torn world Dr Karan Singh as a President of India can play a leading role to carry India's message of peace, complete disarmament to make the world last longer in peace and dignity of all nations. |
