| Guldev's photo exhibition begins | | | JAMMU, June 5: On the occasion of environment day, Bharat Pratibha Vikas Mandal (BPVM), Jammu in collaboration with IFFCO, Jammu and Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organised a photo exhibition of Guldev Raj at Kala Kendra.
The three day long exhibition 'Birds and Earth' is highlighting the present condition of water bodies of Jammu, human fiddling with nature , shrinking paddy land, increasing congress grass, polythene on earth, shrinking wetlands, danger of high tension wires for birds, birds' rights and many more issue were focused . Exhibition will be remained open for public from 11 AM to 7 pm up to June 7. 2012. While inaugurating the exhibition Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Sanjeev Verma appreciated the work of Guldev Raj, done in odd circumstances and presented in a perfect manner.
He said that issues raised in the exhibition are very important and the concerning departments will be asked to inform the steps taken in this regard.
Savita Bakshi, Addl Secretary of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, who was special guest, said that Academy always encourages young people for their artistic works. |
