Plus 2 Lecturers for eradicating 'inchargism' in education department

JAMMU, June 5: A meeting of All J&k Plus 2 Lecturer's Forum was held under the chairmanship of its President N.S.Jamwal in the central office of the forum for reviewing the overall scenario of the Education Department with special focus on delay in regularization of Incharge incumbents and issuance of its formal orders despite Cabinet decision on December 16,2011 for regularization. The speakers discussed at length the issue of eradicating Inchargism from School Education Department once for all and emphasize upon issuing formal orders at earliest which has badly damaged the credibility of the Government and blocked the promotion avenues of the cadre which also effect the academic excellence. Jamwal said that the reorganization of the school education department is the need of the hour and upgradation of Hr.Sec.Schools to the level of intermediate college without having any financial implications, 40% college quota, benefits of Time Bound Promotions (TBP), incentives for highly qualified +2 Lecturers, Grade Pay of Principals and their non-vocational status on priority.Jamwal also congratulated all teaching fraternity for showing remarkable improvement in Higher Secondary Part - II result which was declared recently inspite of shortage of staff in the far flung areas of the state and appealed the teaching community to work with dedication for further improvement in results.
Other who spoke on the occasion were Charan Dass, s M.Bali , Tarsem Singh, Ashwani Sharma., B D Sharma, Pardeep Singh and Deepak Sharma etc.
