| PYC activists accord rousing reception to Shahnawaz Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , June 5: Mohd Shahnawaz Choudhary who is recently elected as a State President of Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) J&K was accorded grand reception on his first to Jammu by thousand of PYC and National Students Union of India (NSUI) workers besides general public.
Shahnawaz was earlier National General Secretary, NSUI and National Secretary Indian Youth Congress and worked in 20 States of the country as Incharge of NSUI and Youth Congress. He belongs to far flung Village Hari of Surankote, Distt Poonch
Shahnawaz Choudhary, State president PYC, J&K along with Iftikhar Ahmed, Election Commissioner All India NSUI and Uday Bhanu Chib State president NSUI J&K reached Jammu airport where hundreds of youth congress workers , NSUI activists and general public gathered outside to receive their leader. The activists profusely garlanded Shahnawaz and also danced to the drum beat. After the formal welcome, Shahnwaz and his team was taken to Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) headquarters at Shaheedi Chowk in the shape of a rally.
The rally passed through Satwari Chowk, Gandhi Nagar, Vikram Chowk, Raghunath Bazar and finally culminated outside PCC office.
Iftikhar Ahmed, Election Commissioner All India NSUI, Uday Chib State President NSUI J&K, Manjeet Jatt State general secretary, PYC J&K , Varinder Singh Chib State general secretary PYC J&K, Pankaj Basotra, Lok Sabha President Udhampur- Doda, Satish Sharma Lok Sabha president, Jammu-Poonch, Riaz Khan Lok Sabha President Ladakh, Aijaz Mehar Lok Sabha Vice President Anantnag (South Kashmir) and Surinder Singh Shingari Senior congress leader were also present to welcome and congratulate Shahnawaz Choudhary on being elected State President PYC J&K.
Shanawaz Choudhary while addressing the huge gathering outside PCC office at Shahidi Chowk thanked all youth for their love and affection. He said that his victory as a Sate president is the victory of common youth and also the victory of the vision of Rahul Gandhi general secretary AICC, incharge NSUI and youth congress who has vision that leadership should not be imposed on youth and youth must choose their leader through internal organizational elections. |
