| Ambassador of Iran visits Kargil | | | Early Times Report
KARGIL, June 5: On the second day of his tour to Kargil, the Ambassador of Iran to India Syed Mehdi Nabizada attended a programme organized by IKMT Kargil to observe and commemorate the death anniversary of Ayatollah Khomeini at Public Park Kargil. Thousands of people, both men and women participated in the programme from all villages of Kargil. Nabizada while addressing the people threw light on the life and teachings of Ayatollah Khomeini and termed him as a propagator of peace and unity. On this occasion speakers threw light on the teachings of Imam Khomeini and advised the people to follow his teachings for maintaining peace, unity and harmony.
Later the Ambassador left Kargil for Leh and on reaching Leh he attended a similar programme there also.
He was given reception by the MP Ladakh Ghulam Hassan Khan along with thousands of people. |
