| PDP criticizes NC for failure to address migrants' issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , June 5: President of Migrant Wing of the PDP Ashok Bhat has lambasted National Conference led Coalition regime for its failure to solve problems of Kashmiri Pandits Migrants. He said that except promises coalition regime has done nothing to mitigate misery of the displaced community. Addressing the PDP Mirgant Wing workers at Chanore Bhat said that coalition regime has totally failed to provide basic amenities to KPs for both sections whether migrants or non migrant. Bhat mentioned that Central has provided huge funds for rehabilitating the KPs for rehabilitation. The NC coalition Govt. shifted migrants to Jagti town ship from different Camps without basic amentities like water, Power Transport facilities. Further a special PM employment Package was announced for the displaced people. Terming implementation of PM package a complete failure Ashok Bhat alleged out of 6000 jobs under PM's Packages the 3000 Posts were to be born by Central Govt. and 3000 by State Govt. though the appointment process for 3000 posts borne by Central Govt. started in 2010, only 1468 posts under the category were filled up till date while no advertisement was made for the remaining 3000 posts to be borne by State Govt. this shows the discriminatory attitude of the State Govt. towards the community. Ashok Bhat highlighted various steps which were taken during PDP led regime to solve misery of KPs. He said that comprehensive project was started by the PDP led govt. for beautification of Khir Bhawani temple in Kashmir and quarters were constructed at Mattan, Shik Pora Budgam etc Bhat appealed to all the displaced community to come forward and strengthen the Peoples Democratic Party for better future. R K Pardesi, Mr Vinod Ji pandita, Sunil Bhat also others spoke on the occasion. |
