| GoC 15 Corps briefs J-K Guv on security situation | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 6: General Officer Commanding of Army's 15 Corps today briefed Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra on the overall situation in the valley. Lt Gen S A Hasnain called on Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here and the meeting lasted for over an hour, an official spokesman said.
"In the discussions the Governor and the Corps Commander discussed various issues relating to internal and external security management", the spokesman said.
They also discussed certain matters relating to the forthcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra which is scheduled to begin on June 25, he said.
The Governor was also briefed about the overall security situation in the valley, the spokesman said. |
