| POWERGRID dedicates library to GHSS Muthi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jun 6: Continuing its policy of contributing to the social sector under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in addition to its core obligations, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd dedicated a library with attached with public convenience at Government Higher Secondary School, Muthi here today.
S C Singh , Executive Director, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Northern Region-II today dedicated a library with attached public convenience at Government Higher Secondary School, Muthi, Jammu under its CSR Scheme to the children of the school. Spokesperson said Principal and other authorities of the school approached to PowerGrid authorities for extending assistance for the convenience of children of the school. "Powergrid authorities agreed to the proposal and constructed a Library with attached washroom for the needy children at a total financial implication of Rs 17 lakh, he added. Speaking on the occasion S C Singh assured the school management of continued support from POWERGRID.
SC Singh was accompanied with Jagmohan Sharma, GM(O&M), Stanley Mathews , Chief Manager (HR), Anil Marwah Chief Manager (ES-C) and other senior officers of Powergrid.
Principal of the School Roshan Lal Gupta thanked POWERGRID for their contribution in upgrading the school by constructing the library . |
