JAMMU, June 6: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today asked the government to ensure supply of power and water to the people of Jammu region. Party regretted that government was not acting swiftly despite the fact that common masses have been facing problems due to non availability of power and water in city and adjoining localities.
Addressing a meeting to welcome Shamashud Din Malik, who joined PDP, PDP leaders said that the government was not serious to solve problems of the people. They said that majority of the areas of Jammu city were without water and power but the government has been adopting pathetic attitude towards this problem.
