Govt unaware of KP community's real problems: KPC | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 6: While launching a scathing attack on ruling dispensations at centre and state, the Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) said today that leaders running the polity have totally failed to identify them selves with KP Community which resulted in great distance and divide between the politicians at the helm of affairs and Kashmiri Pandit Community. National president KPC Kundan Kashmiri while addressing his activists and supporters at Nazafgarh and Gurgoan said that alienation of Kashmiri Pandits is increasing with every passing day and government at state and centre are deliberately keeping themselves away and unaware from the real problems of the KP community. Lamenting over the biased attitude of state and centre govt. for keeping their deaf ears towards burning day to day problems of displaced KP's who are in exile from the last twenty two years, Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief stated that denial of basic amenities like water and electricity to displace KP's languished in Jagti township and at other places is complete human right violation and inhuman attitude of authority concerned. While strongly supporting the demand of cash enhancement for displaced Kashmiri, Kundan Kashmiri stated that worst victim of militancy are those relief holders who are unheard and unattended since last two months of their strike cum dharna at Jammu for cash enhancement. Kundan Kashmiri also criticized Engineer Abdul Rashid, MLA for his comments that KPs left the valley at their own, bailing out the people and factors responsible for the mass exodus of KPs and also criticized him for opposing Kuldeep Khoda former DGP J&K for appointing him as Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) of J&K. |
