| SRS rues unscheduled power cuts | | | Jammu , June 6: Rajiv Mahajan, State President of Shri Ram Sena, Jammu-Kashmir, has strongly criticized the power department for untimely cuts of the electric power, thus causing great inconvenience to the public in general in the city of temples.
While speaking the State President of Shri Ram Sena said that department has never bothered to understand the difficulties of the Jammu people especially old persons, infants and patients suffering from various kinds of ailments due to the non availability of the electric power. He alleged that officers of the department holding key posts are allowing pilferage of power for pecuniary benefits. He also criticized the government for discrimination with jammu region in distribution of power even as jammu contributed more power tariff. |
