| VOK presents challan against then TSWO Tangmarg | | | Srinagar, January 31
State Vigilance Organization Kashmir today presented challan against Mst. Kounsar Naqashbandi, the then Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Tangmarg in case FIR No. 34/2005 P/S VOK.
According to Senior Superindent of Police, Vigilance Organization Srinagar, one Mohammad Abdullaha Mir resident of Kutpora, Qazipora Tangmarg had lodged a written complaint alleging that Mst. Kawsar Naqashbandi, the then Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Tangmarg was demanding an amount of Rs. 500 for release of scholarship under National Foundation for Communal Harmony Scheme. A trap was arranged by Vigilance Organization and the accused was caught red handed while accepting Rs. 500 as illegal gratification from the complainant.
