ATS men break window panes of Laila Khan's Outlander | | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, June 6: The special team of Anti Terrorist Squad of Maharashtra police along with senior officials of Jammu Kashmir police finally laid their hands on personal belongings and documents of missing Bollywood actress, Laila Khan and her family. The joint team today broke the panes of Laila's car and seized documents and other belongings. The car was seized by Kishtwar police on 28-05-2012 from Om Mehta Road. Immediately after their arrival in Kishtwar last evening, the special team from Maharashtra held a meeting with Jammu Kashmir Police officials in the office of the Superintendent, Bhim Singh Tutti. During the course of the meeting that lasted for nearly two hours, Inspector Deshmukh briefed the senior officials of Kishtwar police about the investigation conducted by ATS Mumbai and Maharashtra police. Soon after the meeting, the ATS accompanied by local police officials broke the panes of the car with the help of a local automobile engineer from Mintoo Garage. During the search of the vehicle police found some important documents and belongings of Laila Khan including her hair twister drier. Police also found some eatables including cold drinks and chips from the vehicle, beside a copper box containing some vital documents. Talking to media persons at Om Mehta Road, DySP HQ Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary said the police on the basis of the inputs from local intelligence agencies found the vehicle from the shop of one Mohammad Sharif Kelam who rented the shop to Parvaiz Iqbal Tak son of Amin Din Tak resident of Nalli Bhunzwah. He said Parvaiz Iqbal Tak is absconding and the police are on job to arrest him. He said that as soon as they found the vehicle with Maharashtra number plate (MH02BY-7867), police brought the matter into the notice of Maharashtra police and after verification, the recovered vehicle was found to be owned by Pakistani Origin Bollywood actress Laila Khan. He said Laila Khan is missing since last year along with her family members and said that the investigation into the mysterious disappearance of actress Laila Khan is under progress. He said that though there is no formal FIR registered with Kishtwar police in this case, but the police provide all possible help to Maharashtra police in its investigation. He said at this point nothing could be ruled out. "We cannot say whether it is a simple case or has some terror links. Kishtwar police may register an FIR in near future. Nothing could be ruled out right now. Arrest of Parvaiz Iqbal Tak is very important as far as progress in investigation of the case is concerned. Police are scrutinizing the stuff found inside the vehicle", he said. It is worth mentioning that the investigation so far conducted by Jammu and Kashmir police revealed Sex, Crime and Terror link behind Laila Khan's disappearance along with precious item like diamond, gold and cash valued more than Rs. 2 crores. The family was in Kashmir to attended marriage of Ateeq Ahmed reportedly married with Laila Khan's mother. The sources did not rule out the murder of the family in lieu of money and jewelry. As per previous investigation of case by ATS Mumbai, actress Laila Khan has links with Pakistani spy agency ISI.
