| Sanjay steers ASFCC to emphatic victory over MSCC | | | Jammu| Jan 31
A defiant knock of 56 runs steered Amit Sharma and Friends cricket (ASFCC) club to register an emphatic five wicket victory over Meera Sahib Cricket club (MSFCC) in the ongoing winter cup being played at GGM Science College.
MSCC after winning the toss made a total of 128 runs in 27.1 over. Vinod was the top scorer with 28 run including four boundaries. While Sachin and Chamkar Singh played a knock of 14 runs each. There were 38 extras in the first innings.
For AFSCC Vijay was the most successful bowler with four wickets under his belt.Ujwal took three wickets and Surinder , Sanjay, Gourav bagged one wicket each.
In reply, AFSCC chase the total in just 17 over. The match was slipped from the hands of the MSCC when Sanjay start beating bowlers all over the park. Sanjay played a superb knock of 56runin just 35 balls. He struck seven boundaries and three huge sixes. Tarun and Jatin contributed with the score of 19 and 21 runs.
For MSCC Vimal and Sachin grabbed two wickets each. Man of the match was given to Sanjay.
