MHAC Nagbani students leave for Moungri trekking | | | early times report JAMMU, June 7: The third batch of Tawi Trekkers J&K, comprised of 37 students, including 17 girls and 2 teachers, of MHAC School, Nagbani today left for Moungri in district Udhampur to participate in the J&K Himalayan Trekking Programme. The group was flagged off by the Principal of the School, Yogesh Khosla in the presence of general secretary of Tawi Trekkers, Ram Khajuria and parents of the participating students. Puneet Sharma, a senior member of Tawi Trekkers, accompanied as leader of the group. Meanwhile, as per a handout issued here today, first two groups of trekkers of Shangrilla Public School returned after great trekking experience. The trekkers being on their maiden trekking venture were thrilled to do rock climbing and rappelling on a 20ft high rock under the expert guidance of Everester, Ram Singh. Besides, they were enchanted by the beauty and serenity of the trekking trail amidst the tall pines. Meanwhile, the fourth batch comprising trekkers of Police Public School, Miran Sahib shall leave for Moungri on June nine to participate in the J&K Himalayan Trekking Programme. |
