Abdul Gani of Punjab lifts Londna dangal title

Udhamur, June 7: Wrestler Abdul Gani of Mallarkotla in Punjab clinched the 68th Annual Londna Kesari dangal title outplaying Sukha of Rajasthan in the fight for main bout that took place at Baba Londna Dev Sathal in district Udhampur.
Winner Abdul Gani bagged a cash prize of Rs 10,000 while runners-up, Sukha presented RS 8,000 by chief guest, senior BJP leader, Pawan Kumar Gupta. Additional SP Udhampur, Binam Tosh and District Horticulture Officer, Virender Sharma, Udhay Vir Singh, Sunil Badyal were guests of honour.
This dangal was orgnised by Jai Baba Londna Dangal Committee in association with J&K Style Wrestling Association under the overall supervision of Association president Shiv Kumar Sharma and Committee president, Khem Raj Dubey. The second main bout went to Benia of J&K Police, who defeated Dilshad of Mallerkotla in Punjab and was awarded with a cash award of Rs 10,000. Runners-up, Dilshad got Rs 8,000. Ravinder of Harayana won third main bout outplaying Akram of Jammu while fourth bout was clinched by Sonu of Haryana beating Bobari of Jammu. Kallu of Bishnah won fifth bout outplaying Teg Ali of Mallerkotla.
Members of the organizing committee and those technical officials, who helped in smooth conduct of this dangal were Sunil Kumar Pujari, Viswa Nath, Purn sharma, Kartar Chand, Mukund Lal, Khem Raj, Durga Dass, Suram Singh, Vijay Singh (Biju), Virender Sharma, Mohd. Fareed, Moona Khan, Lashman Singh, Om Parkash Verma, Subedar (Retd.) Talivinder Singh and Murli Dhar (Munna).
Other Results: Ali of Kathua beat Nawab Ali of Patila, Joni of Rajasthan beat Abdul of Mallerkotla, Papu of Ramnagar beat Chini of Banars, Naresh of Haryana beat Jaswant of Rajasthan, Satnam of Rajasthan beat Atter Din of Kathua, Nawab Ali of Patiala beat Ajay of London Power House, Chini of Banaras beat Subash Chander of Chopra Shop, Rajinder of Harayana beat Asraf of Patiala, Kala of Banaras beat Chand of Garhi, Dinesh of Banaras beat Sukhram of Harayana and Naresh of Harayana beat Ali of Kathua and bout between Prem of Reasi and Ashraf of Udhampur ended in a draw.
