Rajendra reviews security scenario | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 7 : The Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar has stressed for close coordination among all security agencies for maintaining continuous vigil on the activities of anti-national elements to foil their nefarious designs. He said that people's cooperation and greater synergy among the agencies is must for achieving the desired results. Mr. Rajendra was chairing a high level security review meeting at District Police Lines Anantnag today which was attended by senior police, para-military and army officers. Addressing the meeting Mr. Rajendra said that safety and security of the people is our prime concern and efforts of the anti-national elements to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of State would be curbed firmly. He said that Jammu and Kashmir Police has faced various abnormal situations they with other security agencies has always ensure to avoid loss of lives and property of the common masses, while dealing the situations. He stressed upon the officers to maintain close coordination with their ranks and strengthen relations with the people to achieve better results. The DGP said that wholehearted cooperation of the people with the forces has helped in maintaining the sustained peace and these relations should be strengthened at all levels to foil the ill designs of law breakers. |
