KP youth resumes hunger strike, appeals CM to fulfil commitments | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 7 : Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (Future of GeNext Kashmiri Pandits) restarted its suspended 22 days long hunger / protest strike at Pratab parak Srinagar Kashmir from 05.06.2012 under the leadership of YAIKS Chief & Member Apex Committee Pt. R. K. Bhat. The Darna/hunger strike was suspended on account of assurances by two concerned Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Ministers Raman Bhalla and Nasir Aslam Wani who came on the Dharna site at Jammu and promised that employment package will be implemented in Toto by issuing orders in favour of the applicants among the pending merit list already lying with recruitment agency. YAIKS is working hard for the implementation of PMs Employment package and recently led a hunger strike for 22 days in front of Press Club, Jammu from 13th March to 3rd April, 2012 it received tremendous support from the KP community as well as from other socio political organizations throughout the State. Dozens of legislatures and leaders of eminence participated in the hunger strike to commit their support for a jest cause viz a viz implementation of PMs employment package for the displaced youth who are the victims of injustice unleashed upon them both by the State & Central Govt.s The striking youth appealed to the Chief Minister and other ministers to live to their commitments given at public places in presence of the representatives of the community. |
