| Vigilance organizes paper reading contest | | | Jammu | Jan 31 In order to spread awareness and to seek people’s co-operation in its drive against the menace of corruption , the State Vigilance Organization in collaboration with Education Department organized a paper reading contest on the topic “Role of Society in Curbing Corruption” at Girls Higher Secondary School. Rajouri Twenty students of senior class drawn from various Government/ Private Higher Secondary Schools participated in the contest and was given a participation certificate. Surbhi Mahajan of National Public Higher Secondary School. Rajouri, Rafia Khan of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School. Thanna Mandi and Abhinav Sharma of International Higher Secondary School, Rajouri were declared Ist, 2nd and 3rd they were also given cash prize of Rs. 1000/-, Rs. 750/- & Rs. 500/- respectively. Special consolation prize was also given to M.A. Anjum IPS, Dy. Inspr. General of Police. Poonch-Rajouri Range, Rajouri presided over the function and gave away the prizes and participation certificates. The welcome address was made by Nisar Ahmed, Sr. Superintendent of Police (PRK), Vigilance Organization, Jammu. The vote of thanks was presented by Nazir Ahmed Qazi, Chief Education Officer, Rajouri. The comparing was done by Hema Kant, Parvez Malik, Dy. Commissioner, Rajouri and Farooq Khan, Sr. Supdt of Police, Rajouri were also present on the occasion.
