| One killed in road mishap | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, June 7: One person identified as Shahid Hussain Malik (28 yrs) son of Wali Mohammad resident Chatroo died here at District Hospital Kishtwar after he got seriously injured in a tipper accident at Dadpath Chatroo on Kishtwar-Srinagar Highway.
According to police, Tipper bearing Registration No JK02A-7131 on its way from Kishtwar to Chatroo met with an accident near Dadpath some 18 kms from District HQ Kishtwar. Police said that the driver lost his control over the vehicle as a result of which the ill fated vehicle skidded off the road and fell into deep gorge resulted into serious injuries to Shahid Hussain.
Police said that injured Shahid with the help of local police was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar where he succumbed to his injuries.
After conducting the autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to family members for last rites. |
