Manvi Gupta a pre-final student of ASCOMS, Jammu brought laurels to the state by winning bronze medal in the Western Vocal Solo contest in the inter university National Youth festival held at University of Madras, Chennai. Manvi was selected to represent the University of Jammu in the National Youth festival. Nearly 60 universities from all over India participated in the prestigious Youth festival organized by the Association of Indian Universities & Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India.
The Medal was presented in the glittering valedictory function. The function was presided over by Prof. S.K. Ramachandaran, Vice Chancellor, and University of Madras. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion included director General of Police, Tamil Naidu Cultural Secretary to Govt. of Tamil Nadu, Vice-chancellor, SRM University & Samson David, Under Secretary, Youth Affairs Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
