| JK Bank custodian of peoples' resources! | | | early times report
Srinagar, June 8: We at the Bank are only custodian of the resources of the people of Jammu Kashmir and our main aim is to work for public convenience and customers' delight. This was stated by Executive President of the Bank G M Sahibzada while inaugurating a new premises and ATM at Zoonimar today. He also said, "The target set for the last fiscal was surpassed because of continuous support of our valuable customers, who are our real patrons."
The remark was taken by a pinch of salt by most of the persons who attended the function. The bank has loaned around Rs 300 Cr to a private airline and the chances of recovery of this amount seem quite bleak. This is how the bank plays the custodian of the resources of the people of Jammu Kashmir.
On the contrary a state subject seeking a loan of Rs 50000 is directed to get two government employees as guarantors.
The Bank today inaugurated new premises of Business Unit (BU) Zoonimar besides commissioning an ATM amid large gathering of valuable clients, senior citizens, traders and local residents.
