A Class-IV employee "enjoys" profligacy with three official vehicles and PSOs at his disposal! | Working as PRO with top Cong Mantri | | early time report Jammu, June 8: It is incredible but true! At least three official vehicles of the government, meant for Gazetted rank officials, and equal number of police personnel have been kept at the 'disposal' of a Class-IV employee, who is presently working as Public Relation Officer (PRO) with a top Congress minister having loyalty with Ghulam Nabi Azad camp. Shockingly, none of the senior officers concerned posted at different departments, which are under the porfolio of the said Minister, have ever initiated any step to with draw the same. Besides, no senior police officer has gathered gutts to inquire how men in Khaakhi are escorting a Class-IV employee whenever he visits different parts of the city and periphery here. Furthermore, reliable sources revealed to Early Times that "many a times, the official vehilces in question as well as three PSOs are being used by the family members of the Class-IV employee in and around the city". Highly placed sources made startling revelation further sharing that "the fuel used in the said official vehilces is being borne by the government department with logbooks of the said vehicles carrying figure as official tours." Giving details, official sources confirmed that "two vehicles with one model as Bolero and another of Amabassador Car belongs to Housing Board department while another Ambassador Car belongs to Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC)". "Everyday, the vehicles are sent to the house of the said Class-IV employee (PRO). One vehicle carries the PRO to the official residence of the senior Congress minister while the another vehicle is kept at the disposal of the family members for traveling," shared sources further adding that "at present one Ambassador car is not in working condition and is awaiting 'orders' of repair by the head of the department concerned." "We don't want to face the music of the top officials as they are well aware of the fact but even then they are mum for the reasons best known to them. "We would face the ire of the concerned minister..... We know the moment we will pin point, we will transferred to some far flung place. So better to sit quite and watch the 'good governance' of National Conference-Congress coalition government," quipped some of the officials on the condition of anonymity. Meanwhile, all attempts to contact the concerned Head of the Departments proved futile.
