| PDP nominates Sham Singh as President Valmiki Samaj | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 9: In order to give due representation and to uplift the downtrodden people of the society, Peo-ple’s Democratic Party (PDP) today nominated Sham Singh as president Valmiki Samaj on the instructions of the Party High command.
Senior leaders of PDP Capt. Anil Gour Sate President Ex-Serviceman Wing, Suresh Sharma, President JKPDTU, Rashpal Singh Billoria-Zone President Gandhi Nagar, Kashmiro-Organising Secretary Zone Gandhi Nagar, along with a large number of people of Valmiki Colony, Gandhi Nagar including Baba Kuk Ram, Krishan, Maya Devi, Baba Balkar Singh participated in the felicitation function held at Valmiki Colony.
Sham Singh had remained as the President of Valmiki Colony earlier too; expressed his gratefulness and thanked the Party President for giving him this responsibility.
He promised to be available 24 x 7 for helping the people of Vamiki Samaj throughout the Jammu Province and work towards strengthening PDP amongst the weaker sections of the society.
