| Two ration dealers among four held for black marketing | | Thirty bags of BPL quota ration also seized | | Jammu | Jan 31 Four persons including two ration dealers were arrested red handedly for black marketing the Below Poverty Line (BPL) quota ration to some shopkeepers at Domana this afternoon. Thirty bags of ration were also seized from their possession. According to reports, Domana Police booked specific information about the black marketing of BPL ration by some ration dealers in the area. On the direction of SSP Mukesh Singh a Police party led by SHO Domana, Narinder Singh Jamwal raided the spot and caught four persons, including two ration dealers, red handedly for black marketing the BPL quota ration to some local shopkeepers. Thirty bags of ration, being unloaded from a load carrier (Regn no JKO2P-6406) in a shop, were also seized by Police. The arrested ration dealers have been identified as Veer Singh and Naresh Kumar Sharma. The driver of the load carrier and the labourer who was unloading the bags also arrested. The case in this regard has been registered at Domana Police Station.
