PK discusses Interlocutors' report | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 9: Panun Kashmir today discussed Interlocutors' report and termed the said report totally apathetic and unconcerned about the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, the original inhabitants of the valley. While speaking in a meeting of Panun Kashmir, President Vijay Bhat said that this report is liable to be out rightly rejected being totally apathetic and unconcerned about the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, the original inhabitants of the valley. He said, "Panun Kashmir, as already has rejected the three member Interlocutors' report as it has come out with nothing in its recommendations and suggestions to address the intricate problem of mass exodus of the ethnic minority of Kashmiri Pandits from their hearths and homes. Bhat put the community members on the guard against maneuverings from different political elements, now shedding crocodile tears for the community and pursuing them to return to Kashmir by employing emotive sloganeering of the so called Kashmiryat and "centuries old traditions". He also reminded the leadership of this particular political party to account for the Nadimarg massacre of Pandits in March 2003 when that party was in power in the state and was parroting wholesale "healing touch" and also its total failure in addressing the residuary day to day problems faced by the beleaguered community. Sanjay Datattreya National Cordinator taking a dig at the tall claims of the government in not even giving practical shape to the much hyped employment package which the state and the centre had to share in equal proportion and that continues to be in disarray even four years after its sanction. Rajindra Kaul, Rakesh Peer, Sanjay Raina, Ram Krishen Kaul Sudesha Kaul, Vijay Sapru, SK Khebri , Omkar Nath Bhat,Rajajee Tickoo and C.P.Kaul were also present in this meeting .
