| Ex-Policeman held with intoxicant capsules | | | Jammu | Jan 31
An Ex Policeman was arrested for supplying intoxicant drug capsules in Bakshi Nagar this afternoon and seized 80 capsules from his possession. The service of the accused was terminated by Police department on similar charges.
According to reports, Bakshi Nagar booked specific information about the supply of drug capsules in the area. Acting swiftly, a police party led by SHO Bakshi Nagar, Sanjeev Mahendru swung into action and arrested the drug peddler. 80 capsules of intoxicants were also recovered from his possession. The arrested person has been identified as Amit Kumar, son of Anmol Rattan of Bakshi Nagar. Sources disclosed that accused was a Police constable and his service was terminated by the department on similar grounds. Meanwhile, case has been registered in this regard and his interrogation was on to ascertain the name of his other associates.
