JAMMU, June 9: Continuing its special drive launched to arrest absconders and proclaimed offenders, Jammu Police today succeeded in arresting an absconder who was evading arrest for the last thirteen years.
According to police spokesperson one Pawan Kumar @ Pumma S/o Kasturi Lal R/o H.No. 191 Ghas Mandi, Jammu was declared an absconder in Case FIR No. 351/1991 U/S 307/149/147/148 RPC of P/S City through a court order on 24-09-2001 and had issued a warrant u/s 512 Cr.PC.
City Police after concerted and sustained developed an input regarding the whereabouts of the absconder and succeeded in apprehending him.
