JAMMU, June 10: Police today apprehended a man, who was involved in an assault case at Latti in Ramnagar, Udhampur, and had been evading arrest for the past 19 years.The accused, whom police sources identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Kalu, hails from Latti. He was apprehended by the concerned police from his hideout on a tip-off, the sources added.
Meanwhile, Ashok Singh, son of Amarnath of Kanah, Ramnagar, was also arrested. He was allegedly involved in a decoity and was absconding for the past 16 years, sources said. |
