| Man kills brother at Thanamandi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, June 10: A man allegedly murdered his brother at Pangai in Thanamandi area near here today over a trivial issue. Police sources said Fateh Mohammad and Mohammad Hussain, sons of Bahadur Ali of Pangai, had strained relations over the issue of a boundary wall in the house.
Today also, there was heated exchange of words between the two sides over this issue following which Fateh attacked Hussain with a lethal weapon as a result of which he sustained critical injuries, the sources added.
The injured was admitted to Thanamandi hospital where he later died. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to his family members for last rites.
Though Thanamandi police had registered a case in this connection, the accused was yet to be apprehended. Thanamandi police station SHO Bashir Ahmad said police had registered an FIR and launched a manhunt for the accused. |
