JAMMU, June 10: Police have apprehended five criminals who were alleged to be involved in the murder of Varinder Singh alias Vicky in Udhampur in 2008.
Police sources said the accused, who were absconding, were held after series of raids at their hideouts.
They included Sushant Sharma, son of Hem Raj of ward No 1, Subhash Nagar, Udhampur, Sumit Singh, son of Surinder Singh of Housing Colony, Udhampur, Sunil Kumar alias Nitu, son of Krishan Lal Domail near petrol pump, Udhampur, cop Mohammad Maqsood Chandail, son of Mohammad Sharief of Gangera, Udhampur, and Zuber Ahmed Chandail, son of Mohammad Hussain of Gangeda.
Five accused in the case were apprehended by police earlier. With this, all the accused in the case had been arrested, the sources added. |
