Pledges to expose nexus between corrupt politicians-bureaucrats | NCP celebrates 14th foundation day | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: Urging the intellectuals, academicians, youth and all right thinking and clean people to come on a single platform and launch a deciding crusade against corruption, the National Congress Party (NCP) said today that bribery has become a cancer in the harmonious development of the state of Jammu and Kashmir This was stated by State NCP chief Thakur Randhir Singh while addressing the party activists during a function on the occasion of the 14th Foundation Day celebrations of NCP. Singh announced that very soon a non-political platform for the purpose of opposing corrupt practices would be launched adding that eminent personalities who have established themselves as an icon of tirade against corruption will be invited to give momentum to the crusade. He further said that there is no existence of any health facilities, hygiene, roads and transport in rural areas for our rural population and urban poor, modern health facilities is still far distant. Regretting that there is no clear cut youth policy, Singh said that Youth Affairs ministry is literally invisible making our youth completely orphaned. Singh appealed all segments of the society particularly the media to come forward in big way and fight for misgovernance in the state at all levels due to which there is acute shortage of water supply and power |
