| JWAM warns urban agencies against sub standard works | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 10: Sunil Dimple president Jammu West Assembly Movement has warned the ERA, PWD, R&B, departments against the sub standard ERA Sewerage works which have badly damaged all the roads in the Jammu west constituency.
Accusing ERA, R&B and others of using sub standard construction material, Dimple demanded that the samples of their material and quality of construction be sent to laboratories for ascertaining the compliance with the norms.
Dimple brought the matter in the notice of the DC Jammu Sanjeev Verma who assured that he will visit with him and inspect and see the condition of the on going work.
JWAM accused that the engineers of the departments are hand in glove with the contractors and are allowing sub standard works thus siphoning off public money.
JWAM urged the chief minister to immediately complete the work on the BC Road as the tourists and the pilgrims of Shri Amar Nath shall start arriving soon. |
