HM ultra, brother of JKP SI returns from Pakistan; surrenders | | | early times report RAJOURI/JAMMU, June 10: A Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK)-trained HM militant, who had crossed over to Pakistan in 2003 to receive training in the handling of arms and ammunition, today surrendered before police here. He was identified as Mohammad Yiyaz, son of Mohammad Hafiz of Dhara, Thanamandi. His brother Manzoor Hussain is a Sub-Inspector in J&K police, according to police sources. Sources said he was a school goer in 2003 when he crossed the LoC from Keri area here with the help of HM commander Qadir Hussain and exfiltrated to Pakistan. In Pakistan, he got training in the handling of arms and ammunition and got a salary of Rs 6,000 per month. During interrogation, he told police that eight other persons also got the training with him in the PoK camp. He, however, fled the militant training camp and started working in a petrol pump at Islamabad. After years of struggle, he was able to save Rs 70,000 which he gave to one Bashir Ahmed who managed for him a visa for Nepal. Sources said from Pakistan, he travelled to Nepal and then to Jammu. Finally, he reached his homwtown. His brother SI Manzoor then made him to surrender before DIG (Rajouri-Poonch) and SSP, Rajouri. He was later handed over to Thanamandi police station. His sustained interrogation was in progress, the sources added.
