Kishtwar, June 10: Additional General Secretary and fire brand National Conference leader Shiekh Mustafa Kamaal today warned Congress leadership against harassing National Conference workers.
Kamal who is in Chenab region was speaking at a party meeting in Kishtwar. Taking serious note of reports of harassment of NC workers by Congress men, Kamaal issued the warning.
Mustafa without naming anybody said some leaders within the party were misguiding the party leadership ( Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah) by feeding lies to them.
"I agree that few party leaders actually having links with BJP and other parties present themselves as well wishers of the party but actually they are our enemies. They furnish wrong information about the activities of some leaders", he said.
He said that PDP is busy in misleading the people over the policies of National Conference. He said that Muzaffar Hussain Beigh is busy in beating the drum off selling water resources and blames NC for all this. He termed Beigh's remarks as reckless. "You people think Muzaffar Beigh is good advocate having lot of knowledge, but actually he is a mindless person who always lies", Kamaal said.
He said during the signing of Indus Water Treaty (IWT) between India-Pakistan, Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah was in jail. "Mufti Mohammad Syeed plays an important role in destabilizing peace and tranquility in Jammu & Kashmir. It was Mufti Syeed on whose direction Jagmohan was appointed as Governor and it was on Mufti's direction that security forces order firing on mourners of Mirwaiz Farooq", he said.

Kamaal said that the only aim and objective of Mufti Mohammad Syeed was to dethrone the NC from Power. But it is not easy. Successive governments at centre with the help of enemies of Jammu and Kashmir made several unsuccessful attempts to keep NC out of power by hook or crook", he added.

Earlier, several party leaders showed their displeasure over the senior party leaders and ministers for ignoring Kishtwar district and blamed the senior party ministers of remaining confined to their respective constituencies. They urged Kamal and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to advice the ministers to give first preference to the party.

The party workers demanded inclusion of MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo in council of ministers. The party leaders from Inderwal demanded that Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo be announced as next party candidate from Inderwal Constituency.
While rejecting the demands of party workers, Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo said that he is not interested to get berth in the cabinet. He said he always prefers to work for party cause. On this occasion nearly 100 people including some BJP leaders joined the party in presence of Mustafa Kamaal who was accompanied by Provincial President Jammu Ved Rattan Gupta.
