| Answer books safe, results to be on time: Committee | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11 The enquiry committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor to investigate the fire that erupted in the evaluation centre of the University of Jammu today said all answer books were safe and insisted that results will be declared on time. "The evaluation process has already resumed and results will be declared on time," the committee said. A minor fire erupted in the evaluation centre of the University of Jammu earlier this week, but no loss of any important property was reported from the site. Fire had occurred in the examination wing of University and was immediately extinguished by the fire brigade. Meanwhile, the committee headed by Prof Desh Baandhu Gupta is working on precautionary measures that need to be taken for avoiding such incidents. The examination wing is also in the process of strengthening necessary infrastructure for avoiding such mishaps. |
