| Discrimination with Jammu: Students protest | | | JAMMU | JAN 31
Protesting against the discrimination with Jammu region in terms of less assembly seats as well as jobs for Jammuites in the Civil Secretariat as well as the recent grants for tourism development, the students of the government MAM College under the leadership of JJSF leader Pushvinder Singh Manhas, boycotted their classes and carried out a protest rally and blocked the main road in front of the gate.
Students of government GGM Science College, Parade College of Girls and Commerce College also boycotted the routine classes and protested on the same issue, according to the press release.
These students have claimed that the colleges will remain closed till the political imbalance is removed and equal seats in assembly are provided to the Jammu region.
