| BWDSC to redress issues of SC community: Swarn Lata | | | Jammu, Jun 11: Smt Swarn Lata, Vice Chairperson (MoS) J&K State Advisory Board for the Welfare & Development of Scheduled Castes (BWDSC) convened a public meeting today on at Mandal in Purmandal. Smt Swarn Lata Vice Chairperson BWDSC after listening to the suggestions & grievances of the public assured them that the J&K State Advisory Board for the Welfare & Development of Scheduled Castes will make all efforts to redress the problem of the Scheduled Caste community. She also assured to take up all the genuine points raised by the public with the concerned Departments for addressing the grievances of the villagers. Earlier locals unanimously raised the issues including shortage of water and demanded for constructing Dug Wells & Tube Wells in the village. The locals also requested the Vice Chairpeson for fresh BPL Survey for including poor anddeserving people. They also demanded for construction of community Hall at village Keuli. The meeting was attended many prominent citizens like Pandit Hemraj, Yashpaul, Rajesh Kumar, Smt Kamlesh Sharma (Panch), Nazir Ahmed.
