| Central Mahajan Sabha disburses financial assistance | | | Jammu, Jun 11: Continuing the mission started by social reformer and educationist late Lala Hans Raj Ji, the Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (Regd.) distributed an amount of Rs 97500/- to poor, downtrodden Mahajan families i.e. among Mahajan widows and needy Mahajan students.
The financial assistance was extended through President Vinod Gupta and Sec. General Chandcr Mohan Gupta of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (Regd.) with the help of other office-bearers. The President Vinod Gupta regretted for the delay of disbursement of widow pension because of problems created by some-persons having vested interest who are already working against the Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha. Further, a committee was constituted to carry out the verification of genuine deserving cases and for the enhancement in financial aid to need persons. Senior Vice President Ved Nand Lal Gupta, Supdt Rattan Hindu, Treasurer Sat Paul Gupta, Dr Mohan Gupta, Satish Gupta and Secy Pawan Gupta also rendered their services in this noble cause. |
