| Naresh bags Showa Kesari dangal title | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 11: Naresh of Showa defeated Swarn Singh of Kangar to won the Annual Showa Dangal, organized by Showa Dangal Committee Showa at Showa near Mathwar. About 35 bouts were decided in this day-long dangal. State general secretary of BSP, Rakesh Wazir was chief guest in this dangal. He was accompanied by Ch.Mumtaz Ahmed and Mool Raj, president of the dangal committee. The second main bout was won by Ravi of Chatha beating wrestler Arjun of Reti Chabri in a close contest while third bout went to Baj Singh of Ban Batada after he defeated Mulkh Raj of Akhnoor.
Members and technical official who helped in the conduct of dangal included Shiv Ram,Govind Ram, Mool Raj, Rattan Lal and Shonka Ram. Other Results: Billa bt Mir Ali, Haider Ali bt Surjan Singh, Daljeet Singh bt Bucha, Bittu bt Bhushan, Anwar Khan bt Rinku, Sunil bt Showkat Ali, Murad Ali bt Baba, Sanjay Kumar bt Kalu. The bouts between Sunil and Talib and Bagga and Makhan Singh ended in a draw.
