MLA apprises issues of Nowshera people to CM

Jammu , June 11: Radhay Sham Sharma, MLA and Senior Leader of National Conference from Nowshera Constituency through a statement here said during a meeting with chief minister Omar Abdullah at Srinagar today and submitted a detailed charter containing fourteen demands pertaining to proper and expeditious development of Nowshera Constituency.
During this meeting MLA Nowshera discussed in details different issues of vital public importance in this one to one meeting with chief minister including early disbursement of compensation of border migrants of Nowshera constituency at par with the compensation to Border migrants of Pallanwala, a commitment of Govt. at the floor of the House is yet not implemented.
Other issues discussed during the meeting included projects of development of clusters of Model Villages, one each for nowshera and Sunderbani Blocks in Nowshera Constituency, declaration of select list of Class IV employment who applied in year 2006 and interviewed in 2009-10; Recruitment in Police Department under direct supervision of Director General Police in Nowshera Constituency; providing of funds for construction of road from Main Road Near Dak Bunglow to Lohar Kot; funding for 21 Water Supply Schemes sanctioned for Nowshera Constituency; development of Sericulture in Nowshera Constituency and construction of Cocoon Marketing Shed at Nowshera; Crop compensation to all the farmers whose crops are damaged which are assessed nearly 80% to 90% in Nowshera constituency; special package for providing employment to educated unemployed of Nowshera Constituency; special package of funds under BADP for Nowshera and Sunderbani ; sanctioning of PDD Division at Nowshera and creation of Additional District and Session Judge at Nowshera and Sub Judge at Sunderbani. Sharma also clarified if disbursement of compensations to the Border Migrants his constituency at par with the Border Migrants of Pallanwala is not assured he will be compelled to join Border Migrants families and public in general of his constituency to start peaceful protests indefinitely after 16th August, 2012 till justice is done to the border migrants families of Nowshera Constituency, stressed Sharma. Chief Minister gave patient hearing to MLA Nowshera constituency and assured for whole hearted co-operation of his Govt. in speedy redressal of all the vital issues raised by MLA Nowshera.
