| Police Public meet held at Khoon Majalta | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 12: Police, today organised a Police Public meet at Khoon Majalta in which large number of people including senior citizens, Panchs and Sarpanchs participated, besides the officers from Civil Administration. The meet was organised to strengthen bond between the people and the police.
Addl SP Udhampur, Benam Tosh, SHO Majalta, Kuldeep Khajuria, Addl. SHO Majalta SI Omkar Singh represented the police while Sunil Badyal (director INTN NGO), Chain Singh Sarpanch Palnu, Romesh Kumar Gupta Serpanch Khoon, Saleem Sarpanch Sundla, Raghubir Singh Block president JKNPP, Ved Paul President Youth Congress Majalta, Ch Shuker Din Azad member District Advisory Board, Nirmal Kesar and Yash Paul Khajuria represented the civil society in the police public meet.
ASP Tosh in his address observed the people that their demands pertaining to other Departments are genuine and will be taken up with authorities of concerned Departments through official communications. He further said that the proposal for the establishment of Police Post at Khoon has already been submitted for further action to higher authorities. He reiterated that sincere and committed efforts will be made to work out all the criminal cases to bring them to logical conclusion on merits.
The people of the area have appreciated the people friendly approach of the police and holding of frequent Police- Public meet even at far off places with a view to redress the public grievances. |
