| DIG holds unit Darbar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 12: A darbar of Jawans of SDRF IInd. Bn. Jammu was held by Sham Lal Sharma, IPS, Dy. Inspr. Genl. of Police HG/CD & SDRF Jammu. The darbar was attended by Gh. Sarwar Chauhan, SSP Commandant, SDRF IInd. Bn. Jammu, Chanderjeet Singh, Bn. Adjutant, S. K. Bakshi, Dy. SP, Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Dy. SP Quarter Master and Ajay Sharma Dy. SP, Staff and other members of SDRF 2ndBn. Jammu.
Addressing to darbar DIG told the officers and Jawans to maintain utmost discipline and also adopt to the changing circumstances as the nomenclature of SDRF warrants that the jawans and officer should be physically fit and trained professionally in order to face and manage unforeseen disaster. He also heard the grievances of the jawans and addressed them on spot.
Earlier Commandant SDRF IINd. Bn. Jammu welcomed the DIG HG/CD & SDRf Jammu and also briefed him about the activities of the Bn.
A rank Pinning ceremony was followed by the Darbar in which recently promoted 29 HCs and 23 Sgcts were decorated with new rank.
