| BJP activists hold protest demonstration | | | BHADERWAH,JAN 31 A large number of BJP activists organised a protest demonstration at Seei Bazar here today against the state government's failure on all fronts and shouted anti- Governmentand anti-Congress slogans. The protestors led by the Mandal president of Bhaderwah Desh Raj Katalstrongly criticised the state government and local administration for befooling the common masses on the name of development and accused it of destroying the Hindu religious places and in this connection referred the instance of the grave gard which is being acquired for setting up University campus there. Addressing the protestors the Mandal president alleged that the posting of VDC members in towns will provide ample chance for anti-national elements to attack on villages and demanded all VDC members should be sent back to villages where they will serve the villagers from terrorists .He also said that the concerned authorities of the Distict are making excuses that they VDC members are posted in towns for training purposes for a month. Upset over the VDC members posting in the townsthe BJP Mandal President demanded their immediate recall and deployment in the respective villages where the threat perception is high. Saying that the BJP was ready for any sacrifice , he said that the party would oppose any such move of the government which will be anti-nation and anti people. The BJP leader also alleged that the corruption was rampant in Chief Minister's constituency with the concerned authorities all this like mute spectators.Among others who addressed the demotrators included Statish Chander Kotwal, Desh Raj Kotwal, Anoop Kotwal, Raj Singh Kotwal and Manjeet Razdan. |
